Bio’s:

Nicole Galloway majored in math and economics at Missouri University of Science and Technology before earning her MBA at Mizzou. She became a licensed CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner, went on to serve as Boone County’s Treasurer and then Missouri’s State Auditor. She advocates a New Way agenda to meet the needs of Missourians that changes how Jeff City works, and who it works for. Nicole lives in Columbia with her husband, Jon, and her three young sons.

Panelists: Joseph Stiglitz is a professor at Columbia University and recipient of the Nobel prize in economics. His many positions on the national and international stage include Chairman of President Clinton’s Council of Economic Advisers, and President of the International Economic Association. He has written several books on income distribution, globalization, better metrics of economic and social progress, and recently People, Power and Profits: Progressive Capitalism for an Age of Discontent.  

Amy Blouin is founder and CEO of the Missouri Budget Project.  The Missouri Budget Project is highly regarded as an objective public policy analysis organization that provides independent research on state policy issues. It advocates for fiscally responsible policies that advance the well-being of all Missourians. She has received regional and statewide recognition and awards for her work.

Glenn Koenen is past Executive Director of Circle Of Concern, an organization that feeds the hungry and provides assistance to low-income families living in St. Louis County.  He was the  chair of West County Democrats and is currently secretary of the Oakville Democratic Organization. He has testified over 50 times before the Missouri legislature on a wide variety of issues to advance the well-being of Missourians.  He is a member of MOPAG.

Don Logue has over thirty years of experience advising both public and private organizations on strategic solutions in community development and healthcare. He has been a turnaround specialist for troubled healthcare operations in multiple states. He is a treasurer for Community Forward, a Ferguson community development organization, and serves on Washington University’s Patient Research Advisory Board. He is a member of MOPAG.

Moderator: Steve Reed has had a Federal career managing Department of Defense automated logistic and information systems. He has been a Co-chair of MOPAG since 2016.
